I tend to avoid the whole "I'm fiscally conservative but socially liberal" line because it seems to be oft used by apologetic conservatives who are really saying "I'm Republican but please don't hate me."

Interestingly, tutordennis, who knows me very very well, maintains that I'm secretly a Socialist.
