He's doing very well! He had his nails trimmed at the vet, and his cere cleaned. All blood tests came back just fine, and he's transitioning to a pelleted diet. We'll bring his cage downstairs for good soon, so that he can make friends with our budgie, Furn.

I had a few people mention that "Kafka" seemed rather gloomy for such a colorful character, and his crest does remind me of a Trojan helmet.

Of course, you guys are welcome to visit him at any time!

I like the new name. I won't tell Hektar, one of our kitties, of this name change, though. He may take offense.

Glad he's doing well and being cared for properly. We should plan a visit soon. Perhaps when you're more healed?
