You can now pre-order the 2009 Geek Girls Calendar on the Calendar Geeks website HERE!

As some of you know, I am pleased to be Ms. October 2009, the Steampunk Geek. In addition, the 2009 calendar features the following geeks: Chemistry, Librarian, Knitting, Math, Music, Grammar, History, Computer, Theater Tech, Roleplaying Game, and Video Game. None of the models in this calendar are just posing; they're all real geeks who are passionate about the themes of their pictures (quite passionate...these geeks are seriously hawt!). The twelve-month calendar also includes geeky holidays such as Pi Day, sci-fi cons, birthdays of notable geeks like Albert Einstein and Ada Lovelace, and the Unix timestamp 1234567890. Cost is $16.95 plus shipping, and your order should arrive within 4-6 weeks if you place your order before Monday, 30 June 2008. If you want to get in on the first printing run, order now.

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] jedusor for making this all happen. The 2009 calendar is dedicated to the memory of Ava, our Chemistry Geek, and her portion of the proceeds will go towards a scholarship fund in her name. My calendar photos were taken by [livejournal.com profile] tutordennis at Maker Faire (Bay Area) 2008, and the main page features The Whirlygig Emoto, Tom Sepe's steam-assisted motorbike.
