Steampunk Geek Girl Banner

The first run of the 2009 Geek Girls Calendar has sold out, but the second printing is underway, with guaranteed delivery for the holiday season.

The 2009 calendar features the following geeks: Chemistry, Librarian, Knitting, Math, Music, Grammar, History, Computer, Theater Tech, Roleplaying Game, Video Game, and Steampunk. None of the models in this calendar are just posing; they're all real geeks who are passionate about the themes of their pictures (quite passionate...these geeks are seriously hawt!). The twelve-month calendar also includes geeky holidays such as Pi Day, sci-fi cons, birthdays of notable geeks like Albert Einstein and Ada Lovelace, and the Unix timestamp 1234567890. Cost is $16.95 plus shipping, and the order form is on the website here.

Many thanks to Geek-in-Chief [livejournal.com profile] jedusor for making this all happen. The 2009 calendar is dedicated to the memory of Ava, our Chemistry Geek, and her portion of the proceeds will go towards a scholarship fund in her name. My calendar photos were taken by [livejournal.com profile] tutordennis at Maker Faire (Bay Area) 2008, and the main page features The Whirlygig Emoto, Tom Sepe's steam-assisted motorbike.

Caveat: delivery before the 25th is only guaranteed for orders that come in before I receive the print run (so you're safe for about another week). After that, I'll do my best, but no promises. I'm one woman against the holiday mail rush, here. :)

You look great on the calendar!

Sorry to hear about Ava though...

Please tell me the song Leeds United is not about the football team? They are our arch enemies!

Wow! I now personally know TWO members of the Calendar. Clearly I need to acquire a copy.

I have to say your username + icon is incredible. I'd never have thought non-euclidean geometry could make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.
