if a cop shot my pets, they'd have to shoot me, i wouldn't stop screaming until they did. (they probably would have already, thinking I was crazy as I attempted to throw myself in front of the gun)

I'm so insanely furious about this. And the article kinda made it seem like it wasn't ok to shoot their dogs *if they were innocent*

no - it was absolutely not ok, at all, even if they were guilty, even if it were something worse than "just pot" - even if they actually had a "no knock" warrant, etc. If they had reason to fear for their lives from the dogs, that's one thing. Shooting a person's dogs as SOP, just to punish or torture them is NOT ok. Fucking bastards. Fucking fucking bastards.
